This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
UPDATE 2: As of the 16th, there have been no entries. I don't know whether people were not enticed by the contest type, whether I'm not well-known enough yet, or whether I simply started the contest during a busy time of the year and people did not have time. Whatever the case, I would still be very happy to see what anyone has come up with if they still want to do it just for fun. I will try a contest again in the future so stay tuned if you're interested!
UPDATE: I'VE HAD SOME REQUESTS TO PUSH THE DEADLINE BACK DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS, SO THE DEADLINE WILL BE: Midnight (GMT) January 15th -- winners to be announced January 16th.
Who doesn't love Colorforms? Having done away with the structure of coloring books and the linearity of simple stickers, Colorforms let our younger selves take adhesive cutouts of our favorite characters and stick them any which way we want on various backgrounds. It's almost like a condensed, two-dimensional, semi-permanent form of playing with action figures. As we grew older, more sophisticated ways of artistic expression came about, but we here at Kalico Kitten Studios ask the question, Why not simply update a masterpiece of entertainment? Why not give people a single, simple element and let their imaginations and creativity run wild?
To that end, we present Kali-forms, a contest with a twist. We provide a simple inked picture of a character or two in a given pose. All you have to do is take that picture and expand on it in any way you like. For this first contest, we provide characters Angela and Captain Locke tied back to back. It's up to you to surround them in the best full-fledged picture you can do. Put them in any situation, surrounded by anyone or anything. Give them clothes, or not. Answer the questions, How did they get there? Who did this to them? Where are they? What's going to happen to them? The goal is to come up with the most creative, well-done picture. No creative limitations; let those ideas of yours take over.
Entries will be judged by ~Vithar-Vulpes based on creativity, artistic proficiency, and provocativeness.
Contest Deadline
Midnight (GMT) January 1st -- winners to be announced January 3rd.
Contest Rules
Pictures must contain the provided line art posted in my gallery as "KFC-01"
Line art may be re-sized, mirrored, drawn upon, and colored upon in any way, but must remain present.
"KFC-01" represents original characters Captain Locke (facing away) and Angela (facing the viewer), both belonging to Kalico Kitten Studios. For more information regarding color, personalities, etc, please feel free to note me.
This contest is open to registered users of both Fur Affinity and deviantArt. Since deviantArt has tighter rules surrounding adult material, please be familiar with them and heed them if you wish for your picture to be posted in your gallery on deviantArt.
If your picture does bend deviantArt's rules, we encourage you to make a Fur Affinity account and post it there so you may feel free to express yourself.
Only one entry per person.
For those of you with accounts on both Fur Affinity and deviantArt, you may post your entry on both accounts, but enter the contest from only one of them. Please make sure to note me your entry from the account which you wish to be featured.
Contest Prizes
Grand Prize -- A color commission of your character subduing (or being subdued by) Kalico Kitten or any of her characters. If you do not have a personal character, the commission is open to your imagination.
Runner Up -- A charcoal commission of your choosing.
How to Post Your Entry
Post your entry to your gallery with a notation in the description that it's for the Kali-forms Contest.
Note me a link to your entry, with the subject line "Contest Entry".
Just found your page, LOVE your work, especially the sole shots on your chars. Hope you continue "The good, the bad, and the ticklish"... Cant wait to see whats next!
IImaginative, inspired and fun. What I like the most is that your goal is to tell stories instead of drawing single boring pin-ups, like a lot of other artists.

I want to see what you're trying to say -- say it to me. Say it for yourself.
I'll give you a commission: draw what you feel.

You can run, but that really turns me on and makes it harder for you. Go ahead, run a little!
